The light sculpture “Cocoon” is made of sheep’s wool that I have cut from the sheep’s and felt by myself.
It is referring to a process of metamorphosis and a constant change in our lives. The larvae state is the state before the awakening of the self, and is the longest and most comfortable state in a butterfly’s life. The sculpture is also alluding on the comfort-zone we usually stay willingly entrapped in, but the light are calling us to see the awakening of the consciousness in order to evolve.
