Burn That Woman Down – are drawings and collage series of iconological self-portraits of a different Christian saints and martyrs, who where brutally mutilated and murdered for sticking to their opinions and believes, usually firstly proclaimed witches or heretics for not fitting in the society expectations, and than later proclaimed saints by the Catholic Church.

The aim was to depict a paradox in a perception of a healthy, respected and worthy woman in a contemporary Croatian society, which is still predominantly patriarchal and/or Roman Catholic. ©
