The project Breastfeeding is about bread preparation and moulding dough into breast shapes.

Women volunteered to have their breasts measured.

They were willing to share their names, age and bra sizes with me. The dough is shaped according to their breast measurements. The bread- breasts where enlarged by the heat from the oven, end became a few sizes larger and ready to eat. Each bread-breasts were named after the ladies that volunteered on this performance.

The creation process was filmed and the movie was shown while the spectators were tasting / eating the bread.

The performance is a reminder of a primal function of the breasts, which is nearly forgotten due to trends of  objectification and manipulation through aesthetic surgery.
